Join us at The James Hutton Institute for the Aberdeen City Wide BioBlitz, a free, family-friendly event bringing together communities, wildlife enthusiasts and experts to discover, record and celebrate Aberdeen’s biodiversity. The Institute will act as the main BioBlitz hub, with activities taking place throughout the day and guided wildlife events running across the city.
Friends of Hutton are warmly invited to visit us at the JHI hub, where there will be a variety of drop-in activities running all day, including species identification, wildlife recording support, opportunities to meet experts, and live updates from BioBlitz activities taking place across Aberdeen. Whether you’re a keen naturalist or simply curious about the wildlife on your doorstep, it’s a great opportunity to get involved and learn more about local biodiversity.
The event is free to attend and open to everyone, with no specialist knowledge required. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for nature.
