Burns Supper with Ian Rankin

Join us for an evening of friendship and exploration of how soil forensics can help solve crime in Scotland and beyond.

From whisky provenance to salmon fishing, from pollution and contamination to flooding and land erosion, soil is our silent witness and a vital tool for protecting our natural resources in the face of climate change.

The evening will include a Q&A session between best-selling crime author, Ian Rankin, and Dame Professor Lorna Dawson, Head of the Centre for Forensic Soil Science at the James Hutton Institute.
